Theophilus London recently dropped a new single off of his upcoming debut LP, Timez Are Weird These Days, titled “Last Name London”. London is really creating a new genre all by himself, and I’m really feeling his stuff as well. The LP is due around July 19.

Shout out to my boy Terrence T. for putting me on Theophilus London. I don’t know too much about the guy, except that he hails from Brooklyn, NY and that he’s pretty dope. His style is very reminiscent of Kid Cudi, which makes him an instant favorite in my opinion. The video above for “Flying Overseas” combines spectacular visuals with a very summertime feel to it. Solange Knowles (Beyonce’s little sis) complements Devonte Hynes on the hook beautifully. This one will be playing in my rotation all month.
